Insert CD into any computer

Click on My Computer choose Math Drill Express

Choose English or Spanish

Select any of the ten different backgrounds

Enter Name and Date (or time)

For classroom use the name “Group” may be entered

Choose difficulty level (1-4) Hint: Start with level 1and work up

Choose OPERATION (In classroom version multiple operations can be chosen)

Set the problem timer from 2 to 30 seconds

Listen to and choose sounds for correct and wrong answers or turn sounds OFF

At Level 1 the Vocal Prompting can be turned ON

Click on NEXT

Click START, choose answer, stop clock by clicking on ENTER
Note: The keyboard, mouse, scratch pad on a laptop or row of numbers at the top of the keyboard may be used to enter answers

Click on RESULTS to see scores (Page may be printed)

Click on MISSED PROBLEMS page (May be printed, also)

Notice MATH DRILL EFFICIENCY FACTOR
This is a number from 90 – 100 that measures the combination of accuracy and speed. This feature is meant as a convenience and can be used as a quick indication of a student’s proficiency.
